Last week, Jenn won the drawing but did not draw the Queen of Spades. The great news is she (and the rest of the club) gets another chance to find her and cash in on the pot next meeting! Sign up sheets for Saline County Fair activities were passed around. We have plenty of volunteers for the beer garden, and the Friend club has agreed to cover the first shift again this year! Jack and Mary G. have agreed to help with wristbands from 5-7:30. Recycling will be at 6:30 am Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings. We have about 6 signed up per shift, but feel free to help even if you're not signed up. The more the merrier! Tom S. brought up another opportunity to help with the Community meal sponsored by Sam's club this year. They asked for volunteers from 4:15-7:30. I've split it into two shifts 4:15-5:45 and 5:45-7:30. If you're interested in helping, please let me know ASAP. I've already contacted Jon with those who have volunteered (thank you!), so please let him or I know so he has time to plan. He can be reached at jonkruse87@gmail.com.
